Neighbors,

I want to take a moment to speak with you about something important: why the March 10th election matters so much for our community.

Local elections don't always get the attention they deserve. But the truth is, no level of government impacts your day-to-day life more than your city commission.

The decisions made right here in Pembroke Pines affect the safety of your neighborhood, the cost of your utility bills, the quality of your parks and schools, and the traffic on the roads you drive every single day.

That's exactly why I'm asking for your vote on March 10th.

Over the past few years, I've been honored to serve you as your District 4 Commissioner and Vice Mayor. And together, we've accomplished a lot:

•Protected taxpayers’ dollars by putting money back in your pocket and reinvesting in the community

• Invested in public safety and our first responders’ needs

• Fought to reduce utility and housing costs for families

• Worked to improve infrastructure and reduce traffic in our neighborhoods

But there is still more work to do, and I need your support to keep it going.

Here's what you need to know to vote:

📬 Vote by Mail: You have until February 26th to request a mail ballot. If you've already received yours, please fill it out and return it today. You can drop it off at:

• SOE at SW Regional Library, 16835 Sheridan Street, Pembroke Pines, FL 33331

• SOE at Broward College South Campus, 7200 Pines Blvd, BLDG 68A, Room 104, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024

🗳️ Election Day: Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Please note there will be no early voting locations for this election.

This election is important because YOU are important. Your family deserves a commissioner who shows up, works hard, and always puts Pembroke Pines first.

Sincerely,

– Mike Hernández
