Neighbors, I wanted to share a brief update on recent City Commission activity and what we’ve been working on to support our community. At last week’s Commission meeting, I took time to thank School Board Member Rebecca Thompson for her leadership and hard work during the school redefining process. These discussions are challenging, and it’s important to recognize collaborative efforts that keep students and families at the center of decision-making.

On Wednesday evening, the Pembroke Pines City Commission met. You can watch the video of the meeting on Pembroke Pines’ YouTube page or on the City’s website. We just wrapped up our final City Commission meeting before the summer break, and I wanted to update you on the important decisions made, and how I’m continuing to fight for transparency, fairness, and affordability in our city.
